Eglantina Zingg

Eglantina Zingg was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She is an actress and TV host. She has a degree in Media Mass Communication from the American University of Florida and in acting from the London Academy of Music Dramatic Art (LAMDA), one of the most prestigious theater schools in the UK. Her TV career began as host of the program L’Gueveo, on MTV Latinoamérica, where she also presented theMTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Movie Awards. Since a very young age, she has been a successful professional model, and is represented by the Ford Agency. She has been on the covers of magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, GQ, Maxim and Vogue. Ana Saldiarraga

Ana was born in 1988 in Medellín, Colombia. Having grown up in that period of Colombia’s history, she realized not everyone had equal opportunities. Wishing to change that, she became a volunteer at the age of nine. In 2004, Ana’s cousin Alejandro was born with brain paralysis with over 92% damage. Her desire to enable him and more disabled people to have a more independent life led to her becoming a Product Design Engineer at EAFIT University.  Academics alone didn’t satisfy Ana’s drive for purpose, so in 2009 she began volunteering for AIESEC, a leadership development organisation that would change her life. After having obtained bachelor’s degree in engineering in 2012, she began working full-time for AIESEC. In 2013, she was elected President of AIESEC in Colombia 2013-2014, leading an organisation with +3000 members. During her tenure, AIESEC brought over 1200 international volunteers, teachers and interns to Colombia to work on projects that support growth and development of Colombian youth and organisations, and sent over 1500 Colombians abroad to do the same. Due to this legacy AIESEC in Colombia was recognised globally and won numerous awards, including the ING Global Achievement Award and the IAVE award for Best Youth Volunteer Organisation in the country during 2013.  Currently, Ana is the global President of AIESEC International with headquarters in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Alejandra Campoverdi is Managing Editor of #EmergingUS at the Los Angeles Times, a digital magazine founded by award-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas that explores the emerging American identity and lives at the intersection of race, immigration, and identity in a multicultural America. Prior to joining the Times, Alejandra served as Senior Advisor for Innovation and Communications Strategy for Univision Network News and was a part of the team that launched Fusion. From 2009-12, Alejandra worked as a White House aide to President Obama, most recently as White House Deputy Director of Hispanic Media, where she developed and implemented the White House’s multimedia communications strategy in relation to the U.S. Latino community. Boris is a media executive currently serving as SVP and Chief Strategy Officer for FUSION, a Joint Venture between Univision Communications Inc. and the Disney/ABC Television Group. He leads company-wide corporate strategy, business development, monetization, and partnerships with a focus on growing the reach and impact of FUSION’s content offerings. Prior to joining FUSION, he most recently served as VP and GM of La Fabrica UCI, Univision’s in-house digital studio. While at Univision, he also worked in partnership with Penske Media to launch Variety Latino; Panoramica, the award-winning documentary series in partnership with Participant Media; and Alma Extrema, the first ever adventure-sports and lifestyle digital destination for bilingual Latinos, powered by Red Bull Media House. José Zamora

Jose Zamora joined Univision in June 2012; he currently holds the position of vice president of strategic communications for Univision News. In that role, he is responsible for ensuring that the content produced by Univision’s news division has the widest possible reach and impact. Zamora also manages the integration of media innovations into the newsroom and helps develop partnerships with foundations, nonprofits and other media and technology organizations that allow Univision News to further inform, engage and empower its audience. Prior to joining Univision, Zamora managed Knight Foundation’s Knight News Challenge, an initiative to spur media innovation across the world.
