Eglantina Zingg was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She is an actress and TV host. She has a degree in Media Mass Communication from the American University of Florida and in acting from the London Academy of Music Dramatic Art (LAMDA), one of the most prestigious theater schools in the UK.
Her TV career began as host of the program L’Gueveo, on MTV Latinoamérica, where she also presented theMTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Movie Awards.
Since a very young age, she has been a successful professional model, and is represented by the Ford Agency. She has been on the covers of magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, GQ, Maxim and Vogue. In 2011, she was designated “Icon of the Year” by Glamour Magazine, and chosen as official ambassador of the Fashion Week Worldwide Mercedes Benz.
En 2013, she undertook the challenge of hosting the third season of Project Runway Latin America on GlitzTV, and debuted as an actress in the film Secretos de confesión, directed by Henry Rivero and produced by Edgar Ramírez.
In addition to her entertainment career, Eglantina launched Project Peace Latin America (Proyecto Paz Latinoamérica), which promotes the values of peace through sports, music and culture in the most vulnerable communities in Latin America.
